Do you want to play a key role in ensuring process efficiency, quality improvement and data quality in one of the Nordic region's leading independent management companies?
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will take ownership of our data and drive forward system improvements and automation to ensure we always deliver great quality. The position is a central part of our operations department, which has responsibility for the company's fund operations. Here you get to work closely on the core business in one of the Nordic region's most renowned asset management environments.
An important role with a clear mandate
As Operations Manager, you will be part of our operations department, which currently consists of 8 people, and serves as an important link between our management and sales department, as well as our compliance and risk management officers.
Your role is critical to ensuring that data used in decision-making, regulatory reporting and customer deliveries is correct, complete and consistent.
In addition to fund operations, you will be given a clear mandate to strengthen data quality, develop robust processes and help the company embrace new technological opportunities including automation and AI.
The position reports to the Head of Operations.
Your Responsibilities
· Further develop and monitor the company's data quality and control structures
· Operate and improve core systems, and ensure seamless data flow between systems
· Identify and implement measures to streamline and automate processes, reporting and system support, including the use of new technologies and AI
· Own and improve operational processes with a focus on standardization and scalability
· Interact closely with managers and sales department on a daily basis
· Detect data quality discrepancies and drive improvement efforts across the organization
· Develop KPIs and reporting that provide insight and governance
· Contribute to projects in systems development, automation and data migration
· Be a professional resource and advisor in the field of data quality and data management
Qualifications we look for
· Higher education in IT, economics, finance or equivalent
· Good understanding of data models, data quality controls and data management
· Experience with relevant tools and technologies (e.g. SQL, Power BI, data governance tools) is an advantage
· Experience in asset management, banking or finance is a plus
· Strong analytical capabilities and high degree of accuracy
· Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly across disciplines
