As part of its ambitious growth plans, Monterro is strengthening its Norwegian office and is seeking a motivated, high-potential investment professional to join the transaction team, supporting Monterro’s platform investment activities in the Norwegian market
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively source potential deals for the firm, both platform and add-on investments
- Help drive relationship-building with entrepreneurs, advisors, corporates, and other key stakeholders
- Contribute to the evaluation and execution of transactions, including financial analysis, market research, valuation and preparation of investment materials
- Assist in managing the due diligence process from start to finish
- Contribute to strengthening Monterro’s brand recognition in the Norwegian tech ecosystem
Qualifications and experience
- 2–4 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, consulting, equity research, or similar fields
- Strong interest in investments, technology, and the Nordic growth-company landscape
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Eagerness to learn from experienced investment professionals
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ownership mindset
- Team player
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
