AKOFS Offshore is a leading global provider of vessel-based subsea services for well construction and intervention in the oil and gas industry. The company operates three modern vessels — AKOFS Seafarer, AKOFS Santos and Aker Wayfarer — and has main markets in Brazil, the North Sea, West Africa and the Gulf of Mexico.
AKOFS Offshore is in strong development and is seeking an analytical and business-oriented Investment that will be a key asset in the company's strategic and operational work. The position reports directly to the CFO and will work closely with the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Support CFO and CEO with analysis and decision-making in financial processes, business development and M&A in line with the company's strategic objectives
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of strategy and action plans for the company
- Prepare economic models, scenario analyses and reports for business development and project follow-up
- Monitoring, as well as analysis, of key financial and operational figures across the Group
- Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency in operations and processes
- Contribute to budget work, forecasting and long-term planning
- Prepare presentations and documentation for board meetings, partners and external stakeholders
- Help develop customer relationships, existing and new
- Support bidding activities and interact with partners,, service and equipment providers and brokers
- Gather and analyze market information (customers, opportunities and competitors) suitable for effectively advising and supporting commercial and strategic management decisions
Qualifications:
- Higher education from a recognized educational institution with good academic results (financial and/or technical)
- Relevant work experience in investment banking, management consulting, transactional environments, or operational experience, preferably in the energy sector or maritime industry
- Strong analytical ability with experience in using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and analytics software
- Good understanding of key financial figures, project financing and market analysis
- Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, both orally and in writing

- Enterprising, self-driven and with the ability to deliver high quality work
- Strong interaction and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial issues in a simple and understandable manner

- Technically interested and curious, with a passion for exploring and exploiting new technologies and tools
