Aslak Ege is leaving the chief executive chair of Capra Group after 14 years. Now he will lead over 60 technologists and build Norway's “rudest technology environment” in Forte.
Forte has brought in Aslak Ege as its new Chief Technology Officer. Ege comes from the position of CEO of the IT consultancy Capra Group, where he has worked for over 14 years.
Now he will be in charge of a department with more than 60 technologists and a clear ambition from the management.
“Aslak has a rare combination of senior management experience and deep understanding of technology. This makes him a strategic asset for the entire company, while at the same time he is responsible for building what we believe will be the country's roughest technology environment,” says Johan Grönlund, CEO of Forte Norway.
Ege, who has a degree in civil engineering in computer engineering from NTNU, says he was attracted by the company's ambitions and culture.
