About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our Head of FP&A to deliver financial insights and planning support that directly influences strategic decisions, operational improvements, and investment cases. You'll take ownership of advanced Excel modeling and ad hoc analysis while contributing to monthly reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Support preparation of monthly management reports, including KPIs, budget vs. actuals, and variance commentary

  • Analyze cost structures, revenue trends, and profitability across the business

  • Identify risks and opportunities from performance data

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts through data gathering, scenario modeling, and variance tracking

  • Build models to simulate assumptions, sensitivities, and performance scenarios

Ad Hoc Analysis & Modeling

  • Lead deep-dive financial analyses, including pricing, margins, headcount, capacity planning, and business cases

  • Build scalable, well-structured Excel models to support investment and strategic decisions

  • Translate complex questions from leadership into clear financial insight

Presentation Support

  • Create clear and concise financial presentations for internal and external stakeholders

  • Communicate complex financial data in a structured, actionable manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, or analytical finance roles

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills – experience with scenario modeling, driver-based forecasting, and automation is highly valued

  • Solid understanding of financial statements and business metrics

  • Experience from growth-oriented or tech environments is a plus

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English; Norwegian is an advantage, and often needed given internal systems and documentation
