On behalf of Norwegian, we are seeking a dedicated and competent Group Controller. As a key member of the Group Reporting team, you will support the preparation of accurate, timely, and compliant consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. This is a central role in the external reporting process for a listed company, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
You will collaborate closely with subsidiaries, auditors, and internal stakeholders, and contribute to maintaining transparency and control in the group’s financial reporting. The role also involves active participation in process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements. You will report to the Group Reporting & Process Manager.
Responsibilities
Monthly and quarterly group consolidation and reporting in accordance with IFRS
Collaborate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, including preparation of documentation and follow-up on queries
Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and reporting procedures
Monitor changes in IFRS and assess potential impacts on group reporting
Provide accounting guidance to subsidiaries and ensure consistent application of group policies
Participate in or lead improvement projects related to reporting processes, automation, and systems
Support Finance management with ad hoc analyses and internal reporting needs
Qualifications and experience
Master’s degree in accounting or finance, preferably MRR / HRS or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from financial reporting or audit, preferably in a large audit firm
Solid knowledge of IFRS and consolidated group reporting
Strong understanding of internal controls and external reporting requirements
Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex data and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report and presentation writing
